Are there right and left handed golf balls?

I believe that someone at my work is trying to make me look stupid, but I have no idea if there really is left and right handed balls. They also said you can get balls that won't get stuck in trees. It sounds so stupid to me, but they were so serious.
I am so glad I asked.....I don't care if your guys think I am stupid.....:)
That sounded mean...I am just glad that I do not know any of you guys

  5. All golf balls are made the same. The guy is goofin' ya (or someone goofed him).

A golf ball could get caught in a tree - depends on how it hits the tree, the shape of the branches, the speed of the ball, yadda, yadda.
